Accent Changer ("we", "us") helps you hear your own speech with corrected English pronunciation. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

Your email address and password. The password is stored in a scrambled (hashed) form — we cannot see it.
Your voice recordings. The 30–60 second sample you record to clone your voice, and the short recordings you convert.
Basic technical information, such as your IP address, used to prevent abuse of free trials.

How your voice is used

Your recordings are sent to two trusted processors to provide the service: OpenAI (to transcribe what you said) and ElevenLabs (to store your voice clone and generate speech in your voice).
Your voice clone is used only to generate playback for you, inside your account. We never use it for anything else, and we never let anyone else use it.
Your finished (converted) recordings are saved in your account so you can replay and download them. Only your 10 most recent recordings are kept — older ones are deleted automatically, and all of them are deleted with your account.
If your free trial ends and you do not subscribe, your voice clone is automatically deleted within a few days.

Payments

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never touches our servers.

What we never do

We never sell your data or your voice.
We never share your recordings with anyone except the processors named above.
We never clone a voice without the owner's confirmation that it is their own.

Cookies

We use one cookie, and only to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.

Deleting your data

Email us at support@myaccentchanger.com from your account's email address and we will delete your account, your voice clone, and all associated data.
